Young driver Dilano van't Hoff dies in accident during second FRECA race

In a tragic day of racing, Dilano van't Hoff, a young Formula 1 star, died at the age of 18 during the second FRECA race at Spa-Francorchamps, just before the start of the 24-hour marathon. With his car immobilized, Adam Fitzgerald was unable to avoid it in the blinding spray of rain. The initial impact then dragged down two other drivers. Fitzgerald himself suffered serious injuries. The capricious weather, combined with almost zero visibility, seemed to have made this accident inevitable.
