Pink Floyd artist Roger Waters is no stranger to controversy. At a concert in Berlin, he provoked a public outcry by appearing in Nazi uniform, complete with black trench coat, red armbands and SS officer insignia. An inflatable pig adorned with the Star of David floated over the audience. The names of Anne Frank and Abu Akleh, an Al Jazeera journalist killed in an Israeli army raid, were projected. Orthodox German rabbis are now calling for a ban on his concerts in Germany. Waters, for his part, denies any anti-Semitism, claiming he is simply criticizing Israeli politics.
