A man is stabbed in the South Station in Brussels (Warning - shocking)

On 17 January at 9.30 a.m., a man armed with a knife started shouting in the middle of Brussels South station, and stabbed a man sitting on a bench multiple times. Security guards and a French police officer who happened to be at the scene intervened to subdue the man. One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries, but his life is not in danger. The federal police then took over the investigation.
